This interactive activity book aims to educate children aged between five and eight years about computers in a fun yet informative manner. The activity book is distributed in PDF format, which enables you to print it out on to A4 paper, to make a useful workbook for children.

If the young children I know are anything to go by, they will no doubt already know how to operate a PC on a basic level, but will not understand how things happen, or the components of a PC.

With this in mind, this interactive learning tool is primarily concerned with educating youngsters in the functions of various aspects of a PC (hard drive, chip, CDRom, for example) and how they relate to each other when the PC is in use.

Complete with plenty of pictures for children to colour in, this is sure to keep their attention for long enough to take in the information. Every paragraph of text is kept short and to the point, and a picture accompanies each to reinforce the lesson learnt in that particular paragraph.

Rather than simply being a book full of information with accompanying pictures, there are also small questions included which necessitate the child making use of information learnt earlier in the book to correctly answer the questions. There are also plenty of other activities for the child to participate in, ranging from story writing to true or false games.
