The built-in volume control in Windows is okay, but like most aspects of Windows, it could be a lot better. This is where ZVolume Pro can help, offering you a huge amount of extra options and features.

ZVolume takes the form of a small toolbar which provides volume controls for every conceivable input or output on your system - Master Out, CD, Synth, Wave, Line In, Mic and many others. You can choose to display as many of these as you wish, and each separate control allows you to alter the volume level or mute it and adjust the balance.

Along with being able to control ZVolume via the mouse, it can also be cotrolled using various hotkeys, although these are only operative when the mouse cursor is hovering over the relevant toolbar (making them a little redundant).

Not only can ZVolume be used to control the output from your sound card, but it can also be used to control a large number of audio programs, including Winamp, Sonique and Windows CD Player. It can also be used to operate Internet Explorer 4.0/5.0.

Along with being able to control Winamp, ZVolume can also make use of Winamp skins to create many new looks for its interface. If you don't like the standard look, simply change it to your favourite Winamp look.
