Super Bubble Pop aims to take the title of 'most addictive game ever' away from Tetris, and with its 3D graphics and great gameplay, this might not prove too difficult.

Choose your character (or 'DJ popper') from those on offer and head for the action. You are presented with a grid containing several coloured bubbles and a 'bubble creation tube'. You stand at the front of the grid and have to throw the bubbles dispensed from the bubble creation tube onto the grid.

The aim is to create lines of three same-coloured bubbles vertically, horizontally or three-deep on the grid, at which point they are removed from play.

Quick reactions are needed as the bubbles are constantly advancing towards you. If they reach you, it's game over.

Thankfully various special bubbles are occasionally released to help you out. These can be power-ups, level advancers, or a number of other useful bonuses. Each game character also has a 'super-weapon' that can be used at sticky moments.

The full version of the game features a jukebox editor, which lets you use your own MP3s as the game's soundtrack.
