Are you a designer stuck for inspiration? If so, the n_Gen Design Machine could be right up your street.

Intended as an aid to inspiration for designers, it is a tool that creates a unique graphical design based upon your entered text.

Design modules are at the heart of n_Gen, of which there are six in this download. These are n_Generic, California Noir, die Modernist, Future Tool, Spacefarm and Urbivore.

Each module has a different theme and inspiration, with subjects such as 'minimalism', 'modernism' and 'the chaotic, technical edge' quoted as being of influence.

You simply enter your text into the available fields (headline, subheading and body copy), select a design module and hit the n_Generate button to have a unique design created. Hit n_Generate again and a different design will be created. Continue until one you like appears.

N_Gen can be used for various purposes, most notable of which are posters, flyers, CD jackets, record labels, web pages and business cards. In business card view, extra text fields are supplied to enter name and address details.

All created designs can be exported in .bmp format on Windows and .pct on Mac, ready for use in your preferred graphics package.
