This is the first in a series of guides to some of the recorded journeys of Jesus. It takes you on a virtual tour featuring pictures and information on the places he visited, and the first episode deals with the Mount of Olives.

Only semi-religious, the guide is more concerned with getting across the story of the journey itself than with any particular religious message, and for this reason has a wider appeal than it would otherwise enjoy.

Many of Jesus's prophecies were made on the Mount of Olives and this guide will educate you on these matters, allowing you to explore the geography of the region. Beginning with Bethany you are taken through various sites of religious significance, such as the Church of the Ascension, Gethsemane Church and the Church of the Assumption.

Each entry has a detailed description of the site, along with its religious and historical significance, its relation to other featured sites and, where possible, a image of the site and a floor plan of any buildings.
