Xara X is a fully featured graphics application that is simple to use and uncluttered in design.
The majority of the tools are displayed on-screen, with easily understandable images to ensure you select the right tool. Contextual menus for each tool are displayed along the top of the drawing window, and along the bottom of the window is a colour bar.
The colour bar includes all the colours available in Xara X, and allows you to quickly fill an object or change its colour. There's no need to select the fill tool anymore - simply choose the required colour and then action the request all in two mouse-clicks.
Along with the traditional tools for print design, there are many to keep web designers happy. Included are a Javascript button bar tool, image slicing and advanced colour palette control.
Xara X is fully integrated with Dreamweaver, and can even export static Flash files. Of course, Xara X can also be used to create animated GIFs.
