Very often problems with hard drives can be fixed without having to send them back for repairs. Seatools can be used to check for errors in more depth than the standard Windows Scandisk tool. Many of these errors can then be fixed by Seatools.

The software creates a bootable floppy disk or CD. By bypassing Windows, Seatools can check all the files on the hard drive as none of them will be in use.

When you click on the Free Download link you will be taken to the Seatools website. The download you want is SeaTools Desktop, the centre option. Click on the Download Now! link. Scroll to the bottom of the license agreement and click on Accept. Enter your email address in the form on the next page and click on Submit. Click on the Floppy Diskette Creator link in the English section. Save the download on your computer and double click on it to create the floppy disk.
