Verdict: A great antivirus and antispyware program at no cost

System Requirements:
Nothing speial required, other than a CD-R drive of course.

Storing images on CD is all very well, but there's no means of viewing the images without using a program installed on a PC.

CDview solves this problem by adding a front-end to a CD of images, from which you can preview each image, view an image full size, run a slideshow, search and save images.

It's really easy to use: simply copy the required files (all explained in the included 'ReadMe' file) into the root directory of the CD, and the images into a folder called 'Images' and that's it. Simple.

Image support is fairly good - BMP, JPG, GIF, TIF, TIFF & PNG formats can all be stored. Images can be stored in one folder, or lots of sub-folders, depending on your needs.

When the CD is run the end-user will see the menu you have created (see screenshot) instead of just a list of image names.

The front-end can be personalised to contain a background image of your choice, and an optional splash screen. Version 3.5 adds the ability to customise the on-screen buttons, and add an "about" page.
