The MIDI format may offer musicians great control over their song writing, but it's of little use for distribution. Converting these to WAV files means that tracks can be burnt to CD, uploaded to a website etc.

WAVmaker converts MIDI files to CD quality WAV files. The MIDI files to be converted can be of practically unlimited polyphony and complexity.

The interface may not be too inspired, but it comes with a wealth of tools that are sure to please any MIDI enthusiast. Numerous effects can be applied to files (flange, resonance, echo etc), and the target sampling rate can be anything from as low as 8000Hz to as high as 48KHz (DAT quality)

Basic MIDI editing can be carried out from within WAVmaker, but it isn't intended to be a full replacement for your usual editor. MIDI events can be deleted, banks and controllers mapped and data transformed.

Register the software and receive a CD-Rom containing over 260MB of WAV samples, and over 3MB of PRG patches.
