Easy CD-DA Extractor was the first ever program that could copy an audio CD into the MP3 format, with the first version seeing the light of day way back in 1997.
It is designed to copy digital audio from an audio CD to your computer's hard disk. Due to the copying process being digital there is absolutely no loss in quality, ensuring that as much pleasure is achieved from listening to your music on your PC as on your CD player.
It supports many different audio formats, including Wave, MP3 and Windows Media Audio, enabling you to choose how you wish your music to be copied.
The CDDB music database is fully integrated into the program, enabling you to instantly download information relating to the tracks you choose to download. Simply insert the CD, hit the CDDB button and information relating to the CD will be downloaded onto your PC from the various CDDB databases on the internet. You will be provided with everything you need - album title, track listing, artist and so on.
You have complete control over the recording process, being able to alter everything from recording speed to filtering to suit your specific requirements. If you wish to remove the silence at the beginning of each track, for example, this can be done easily.
