Verdict: Not a bad application, but most commercial (and some free, such as AVS Disc Burner) burning tools enable you to import and burn ISO images to CD.

System Requirements:

An ISO image is an excellent method of shipping a CD ‘as is’. It is a standard format, across operating systems, that contains all the information you require for the CD. For instance, if can utilise boot or autorun information, regardless of the operating system you use to burn the ISO image contents to CD.

Linux distributions have been shipping as ISO images for years. These ISO images are distributed as self-contained files that you import in to your CD burning package and then burn to a blank CD-R. When you you’ve finished burning your CD, you’ll find your CD contains a Linux distribution, often on a bootable CD.

If you created your own bootable slideshow CD with your favourite digital photos, you could export this CD as an ISO image and then put the ISO image on your homepage, to download. Anyone who then downloads this file has an exact copy of your original CD. There are numerous uses for ISO images.

Although most CD burning packages enable you to import an ISO image, few of them enable you to make changes to an existing ISO image.

MagicISO Maker is an ISO management tool that enables you to create an ISO image from files and folders on your system or edit an existing ISO image. You can convert between formats, backup files and computer contents, make a CD bootable and much more.
