An external hard drive with plenty of storage geared towards Mac users.

Take one look at the G-Drive and it is clear that the product is aimed at Apple users. The elaborate brushed Aluminium chassis acts as both an effective dissipater of heat and a stylish complement to Apple design.

This is borne out by Mac formatting plus eSATA, FireWire 800 and USB 2 ports. While the lack of USB 3 keeps it a Mac-only offering, we cannot fault the performance of the unit, which manages good speeds while staying cool thanks to the cleverly designed chassis.

3TB is also a heck of a lot of storage, just keep in mind that the price of hard drives is only going to keep going up until production gets back to normal after the Thailand floods, so you’ll need to weigh up whether you actually need that much space.

This is a decent option if you are after an external drive for your Mac, but PC users will want to look elsewhere.
