Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.62 improves updating times and fixes problems

Malwarebytes is a company that has built up a solid reputation in the field of malware protection and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.62 is the latest that has been designed to help detect and remove all manner of malware threats.

While this is a fairly minor update, there is still plenty to look forward to. The biggest change has been made to the program updater. The software can now be updated faster than ever which means that you can be sure of having the very latest version of the program more quickly and with reduce bandwidth requirements. There have also been a number of other improvements made to the software.

The Chameleon technology behind the malware scanner has been updated to offer greater protection against all of the latest threats and there have also been changes made to the installation routine. If you are interested in trying out the Pro version of the program, this is now made easier to select during the installation so you can take advantage of the extra features for 14 days.

Other changes include improvements to program logs that mean that the paths and drives that have been scanned are now listed, and in addition to improvements that have been made to the overall program upgrading process, the process of updating the program database has also been streamlined.This minor update also fixes problems that had been found in the previous version of the program which caused problems with scheduled system scans, as well as issues for users working with the Korean language version of the software.
