If the Samsung Galaxy S3's screen just isn't big enough for you, salvation could be at hand this October – Sammy's gearing up to launch the 5.5in Samsung Galaxy Note 2 this October to compete with the expected release of Apple’s iPhone 5.
According to MK Business the Galaxy Note 2 release date has been brought forward to October to compete with the iPhone 5 release. Apple has teased its iOS 6 will launch in the autumn (most likely on the new iPhone) so an October launch for the iPhone 5 makes sense. And with Android 5.0 Jelly Bean set to be announced at Google I/O next week, the Galaxy Note 2 would seem like a viable launch platform in October.
So what can we expect from the Galaxy Note 2? Leaked specs include a 5.5in 1680x1050 unbreakable pane display (UPD), quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, and an 12MP camera. It'll be competing with the iPhone 5's expected quad-core A6 processor and 4in Retina Display
