Kabel Deustchland sets new world download speed record of 4.7Gbps.

German network provider Kabel Deustchland has managed to clock in an eye-watering new world download speed record of 4.7Gbps.

The record was set in the city of Schwerin, but don't pack your bags just yet – there's no way that a widespread infrastrucutre capable of dishing out such ridiculous speeds will be in place for a good long while yet. Not to mention that current laptops and PCs couldn't even begin to process such insane speeds.
