Bio PC adds a touch of greenery to the office computer

What's the easiest way to make a boring old desktop PC more exciting? Flame decals? Go-faster stripe? Speed holes? The answer, according to Mike Schropp of Total Geekdom, is to cram in some soil and grass, and call it a day.

Well, it's a bit more complicated than that. The Bio PC sports a strip of wheatgrass adorning its lid like a fluorescent green punk haircut – it's encouraged to grow by the heat released by the electronic innards of the machine, which also contains tubes of soil to spread the heat upwards.

Made with spare parts, the 3Ghz Pentium 4 processor and 2GB RAM won't be loading up Battlefield 3 in ultra HD settings any time soon – but if you fancy making your own, it will at least introduce a bit of natural shrubbery into your abode – makes a change from the digital dragon-littered forests of Skyrim.
