We’re having a lot – a lot – of trouble believing this can possibly be true, but a Microsoft spokesman is unequivocal about it. All Windows handsets, including the original launch lineup (HTC Mozart, Samsung Omnia 7 et al), will get boosted to Windows Phone 8 (aka Apollo).
The short video above, showing a WMPoweruser interview clip with Nuno Silva, a Microsoft ‘evangelist’, has all the details (in Portuguese, but with good English captioning). Meanwhile, we wait for confirmation (or denial) from the official Microsoft camp. Your shout, Ballmer.
