Canon is reaching for the stars with the new Canon EOS 60Da, which is aiming to be the DSLR camera of choice for astro-photographers.
The 60Da uses an infrared filter to limit the amount of hydrogen-alpha light wavelengths that hit the lens. This makes it great for snapping diffuse nebulae, if that’s your thing.
For earth lovers the EOS 60Da still offers all the great features of the EOS 60D, packing in an 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, and ISO speeds up to 6,400 (expandable to 12,800). And as you can see from the above pic, it also features a 3in Vari-angle LCD screen with Live View support, so you need not risk a crick in your neck looking up at the heavens.
