JK Rowling's seven tomes of Harry Potter have moved to the ebook. And Harry Potter will come in the accessible EPUB format.

That means your kids (or you) will be able to read Potter on iOS, Android, Kindle, Nook and more. All can be bought from the Pottermore website; or directly from Kindle, Nook and Sony Reader. Android fans can get Harry Potter directly from Google Play.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be US$7.92, while Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows cost US$11.10. You can buy the Harry Potter Complete Collection for US$61.34.

So far over 450 million copies of Harry Potter have been sold worldwide in more than 70 languages.

I'd contemplate it but I hate DRM which seems to be on all ebooks these days. Once I'm not shackled to a DRM platform and a particular web store staying in business to ensure I can read my books in future sure I'll dive right in.

Reading the site I'm just not sure if they have DRM or not. They state limit of 8 downloads and mention being able to download direct to PC but don't mention registering a device which DRM ususally needs. Though they do mention Adobe Digital editions a lot which is often mentioned on other books stores using DRM.
