The Max Payne series has been a high watermark for video game storytelling since the original hit PCs back in 2001. Combining comic book styling, film noir plotting and John Woo-influenced 'bullet time' action, it has had a long-lasting effect on the TPS genre.
Now, after a decade-long hiatus, the franchise is preparing to launch a comeback. The new game appears to be quite different to its shadow-drenched predecessors. Check out the latest trailer below:
