This wonderfully useful app gives your trusty Android the power to wirelessly sync with your iTunes library over Wi-Fi.
All you have to do is install the Mac or PC client from airbind, launch the app on your Android device and watch as your tunes magically sync with a single click. An auto-sync function is the icing on this rather useful cake.

Anything that saves us money while being free itself will always get a thumbs up. Vonage lets you talk and text worldwide to other Vonage app users for absolutely nothing and works over both Wi-Fi and 3G.
If you call people who don’t have the app themselves, you can still get ultra low-cost calls which are even 30% less than Skype. What’s not to like?

Grab your pickaxe – there’s gems in them there hills. Featuring bigger mines, more ores and snazzy colourful HD graphics, Gem Miner 2 sees you picking away at rocks for treasure. Work your way through four difficulty levels and try out the freeplay mode, which puts you in control of a huge mine. Google TV support is an added bonus.

OneNote Mobile (free)
Microsoft’s note taking app has finally hit Android, allowing you to create notes with text, pictures, check boxes and to-do lists. Everything is synced with Microsoft’s SkyDrive online cloud storage, which means that you can view and manage your musings from virtually anywhere.
What do you mean we’ll just use it to document funny cats? We’ve got plenty of important things to jot down, thank you very much.

Google Chrome Beta (free)
Google’s Chrome browser is now out in Beta for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices, for those of you who want to take the search giant’s desktop browser experience on the go.
Unlimited tabs, Incognito mode (for when you’re searching for Valentine’s presents) and accelerated page loading should offer all you need, as long as you don’t care for Flash.
Bookmark syncing and the ability to send desktop Chrome pages straight to your device are also neat features.
