If you've been tinkering away at computers for more years than you can remember, this website is a nostalgic goldmine. It's an interactive tribute to the most significant operating systems in the history of computing. From the Apple II's ProDOS to Windows XP; they're all here on one page.
Upon entering the website, vistors are presented with a collage of shutdown windows. Clicking on each command window takes you to a faithful reproduction of the OS in action.
Amiga's Workbench OS was an early pioneer of the file/folder GUI. It's one of many operating systems included on the website.
