Apple to offer logic board upgrades again?

If there’s something strange with your MacBook Air, who you gonna call?

Looks like Apple’s hardware woes aren’t stopping at signal issues on the iPhone 4. There are reports that fanboys who’ve already snagged themselves a new MacBook Air are having problems – and that there may not be a simple software fix.

If the issue is the logic board itself (Apple’s version of a motherboard), it may have to go back to swapping out hardware components old-for-new in the latest incarnation of its super-skinny new laptop.

There’s been no confirmation on this yet, but we’d expect Apple to respond pretty soon if the allegations keep mounting. Problems reported include video distortion and crashing.
