Levinson said that the board regularly discussed succession plans and would be in a strong position if Jobs decided to step down permanently.The company also answered questions about its environmental record, with particular attention to the role of board member Al Gore.The meeting also had its bizarre moments, with one investor suggesting that everyone sang happy birthday for Jobs, who turned 54 yesterday. Investors stood up and sung the song for Jobs to listen to later.
