As the following photos attest, it's a real monster of a camera: it weighs nearly 200g more than its EOS 1D Mark IV predecessor. Aimed squarely at professional photographers, it packs dual DIGIC 5+ processors (three times faster than the standard DIGIC 5, according to Canon) and a full frame 18.1 megapixel CMOS sensor. A secondary multi-controller also means that the camera can be handled proficiently when taking portrait shots.
