In Pictures: CES 2012 (part 1)The new-and-improved MakerBot was easily one of the funnest, geekiest gadgets of the show. If you're unfamiliar with this toy-making marvel, it's an open source 3D printer that can 'print' three-dimensional objects out of ABS or PLA plastic. The new version lets you print two colours at the same time and is capable of making much bigger objects (226x145x150mm). Plus, the kit now comes pre-assembled so non-tech heads can get in on the action too.
