Slayer of dragons One of Skyrim's main selling points is its fisticuffs with dragons (check out the live-action trailer for a taste of what's in store). Dragon battles are randomly simulated and can occur at any time, resulting in epic clashes of steel, magic, fire and razor sharp talons. Emerge victorious and you can absorb the slain beast’s soul, giving you new dragon Shout powers that can be used to dish out destruction in later battles. The dragons look appropriately fearsome and plod about in a believably reptilian manner. For our money, they are the best winged wyrms in gaming; Panzer Dragoon be damned.
