Gaming mice can command pretty high price tags, but the latest product from Thermaltake’s TT eSports range manages to keep the price down without sacrificing features. This translates to an ambidextrous design, with a big scroll wheel and smattering of side buttons. It has 128MB of memory onboard, which can be used to store macros (allowing the mouse to retain macros between computers).
All this makes for quite an impressive mouse. The feel of the rubberised top surface is spot on, and the wide left and right buttons are nice and comfy (the side buttons can be a little obtrusive when using it left handed though). Touches such as the ability to change the backlighting and the inclusion of small weights to customise the mouse with all add up to a great all-rounder, which as an added bonus doesn’t discriminate between left and right handed gamers.
