Samsung Galaxy Note 2 set for August 29th launch

The next generation of Samsung's popular large-screen phone will be reveal on August 29.

Samsung has finally officially confirmed that Galaxy Note 2 will be launched at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked to be held on August 29th.

If the rumours so far are to be believed, the Galaxy Note 2 should sport a 5.5in Super AMOLED display, a very fast quad-core processor, a 12MP camera and be running Android Jelly Bean. There’s also a rumoured Unbreakable Pane Display, which is exactly what it sounds like and should be a much appreciated feature on a device with so much screen "real estate".

All will be revealed live from the event on August 29th at 3am EST. We recommend setting an alarm.
