Qualcomm wants your next TV to be powered by Snapdragon

The cpu giant has plans to power the biggest screen in your house with its quad-core Snapdragon chips

Qualcomm's dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor has already proven itself in the HTC One S and against the might of Tegra 3 in a head-to-head battle, and now the chip giant has revealed that it wants to power televisions with its Snapdragon processors too.

The company's impressively-specced Snapdragon S4 Prime chip with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 320 graphics is designed for Smart TVs and will offer console-quality gaming, multi-screen interaction, face recognition and HD video calls.
