New Apple Smart Case protects both sides of your iPad

New Apple Smart Case protects both sides of your iPad

Drowning among all the iOS and MacBook news? Here's a nice simple iPad accessory refresh to help your brain recover from the heavier iNews onslaught.

If you've been following our Apple WWDC news, you'll know that Apple announced a slew of shiny products ranging from a refreshed MacBook Air and Pro line, all the way up to a retina-display-toting next generation MacBook Pro, along with a new feature-packing iOS 6 and OS X update.

While your brain recovers from all that, you might be interested to see that Apple has stealthily updated their iPad Smart Cover in the form of a polyeurethane iPad Smart Case, which covers both sides of your precious iSlate.

Its full-body design offers the same screen-protecting and stand functionality as the Smart Cover, but now with the added bonus of preventing your iPad's rear from dreaded scratches.

It might not be rocket science, but it's a nice addition nontheless, which can be yours from today for $59 from the Apple Store.
