The Samsung Galaxy Note has finally joined the roster of Ice Cream Sandwich-toting Android handsets, as news of the official Android 4.0 update has begun trickling out online.
A tweet reported by Engadget confirms that patient Samsung Galaxy Note owners are finally getting update notifications, nearly six months after the 5.3in phone/tablet hybrid's release.
Apart from the usual Ice Cream Sandwich features, Note-specific apps like S Note and S Memo have been updated, offering new features like the ability to draw accurate geometric shapes, as found in Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Note's Ice Cream Sandwich update has been a long time coming, although its release is still earlier than the previously rumoured June launch date.
