Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 gets trailer & release date

FPS fan? better get some ice for that trigger finger – it's going to be rather busy over Christmas.

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released on  November 13th, much to the delight of FPS fans and trigger happy gamers alike.

The ninth title in the insanely successful franchise will follow on after the record smashing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and will be set in 2025, adding a futuristic twist to the series.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will centre around a Cold War between the USA and China and the campaign storyline has once again been written by David Goyer, screenwriter for Batman Begins.

The November release date will mean that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will battle head-to-head against Halo 4 – Microsoft's crown jewel in the Xbox 360's gaming throne – meaning we should be in for an interesting, bullet ridden festive period this year.
