Angry Birds Space is here. The first installment of Rovio's "space programme" was released in paid-for and ad-supported versions on iOS, Android, PC and Mac today.

New features and additions to the original game include 60 intergalactic levels, new power ups like Space Eagles and new birds to play with. There are also gravitational fields to contend with.

Get Angry Birds Space for your iPhone now for 99 cents or in HD for iPad for $2.99. Android owners get a free, ad-supported version of Angry Birds Space for now with a paid-up game on its way, according to Rovio.

I'd love to be able to pay for an ad-free version on Android. An ad-free version is available in the Amazon Appstore, but not Google Play Store. So I have to get the ad-supported version. I have Ad Free software installed on my phone, so don't see any ads, so will be good to support the developers.
