Apple's Virtual Assistant Siri can do many things, but Babel Fish-like universal translation has been beyond its abilities – until now. Lingual, a new jailbreak-only tweak, gives your iPhone 4S the ability to translate between up to 30 different languages, using Siri to pull in results from Microsoft's Bing Translate engine.
Simply fire it up, let your words flow and allow Siri to work its magic. Translations are displayed as text-only for now, but it's still better than frantically thumbing through a travel dictionary in a linguistic emergency.
Lingual will be in the Cydia store soon for the princely some of zero dollars. Très bien.
