Twitpic rolls out video support for Twitter

Twitter members can now upload video clips to their accounts using Twitpic. For bloggers, pranksters and journalists this should be good news

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In that case, a video must be worth a million. This should prove handy for Twitter users, who are limited to 140 characters per tweet.

Twitpic today unveiled its new video uploading service that allows you to quickly post video clips onto the Twitter microblogging website. Videos can be uploaded from your phone, through email or via Twitter.com. (You can also upload photos from the same service.)

This is particularly good news for bloggers, pranksters and journalists, who will be able to distribute videos quickly as an event is taking place.
