This is Gigabyte's flagship motherboard, the X58A-UD9. Designed specifically for Intel's flagship Core i7-980x 'Gulftown' CPU, this is a normal motherboard turned up to 11. It has 24 phases of power, seven PCI-E x16 slots and a whole host of other features designed for overclocking. Priced in the region of $600, the only way to really reach the potential of the board is with Liquid Nitrogen overclocking. The good news is that the research and development that goes into these high end features end up helping to make lower end motherboards better.
